During the 1930s, when the UK had a manufacturing industry - we even produced our own lighting - so well-made infact, that some might even call them over-constructed.
Here you'll find a selection of some of the styles we feel are the most enduring and timeless. Mostly made from spun steel and then coated in an oven with a vitreous enamel finish, we have rewired or replaced the electrical fittings, ready for installation by a qualified electrician in your home or workplace.
They vary in colour, size and condition - sometimes chipped here or there, sometimes chipped all over, sometimes with spots of rust, sometime more rust than paint-work left, most left in original condition, some repainted - the characterful ones tending to be even more popular than those that are perfect.
We won't necessarily have stock of the ones you see pictured below, but we buy them whenever we can lay hands on them and it's always worth calling or emailing to check whether we've got what you want. We often buy them in large quantities when another factory is gutted ready for conversion into luxury apartments, so we can often supply them in large multiples if needed. |
