If you're not having a delivery of the things you've bought, then you must be collecting them  from us - unless you're leaving them with us forever which would cost a fortune in storage charges.

We will store your goods for free for 14 days from the date you purchased them, or from the time that we informed you they were ready to collect.  Beyond that time, we will charge a storage fee. Click here to see how our storage service works.

Collecting is pretty straight-forward as you might imagine. There are several ways to do so, one of which will apply to you…

If you've bought something small, then you can collect it from the shop. Our website looks at (and sells) stock which could be situated at either our shop or the warehouse. The specific branch you need to collect from will depend on where the item you've bought was located when you bought it - if you see what I mean. Click here for opening hours.  Please call first to ensure that your goods are in. Don't just turn up, because we'd hate you to waste your time. And please make sure you bring your receipt with you (a copy of your confirmation email will do) and proof of ID (such as a credit card or driving licence).

If you've bought something larger, for example a sofa or armchair, then the likelihood is that you'll be collecting it from our warehouse. The address of the warehouse is: James Deighton & Co Ltd. 58 Waterside Trading Centre, Trumpers Way, London. W7 2QD. Telephone 020 8867 9666.  They are open from 9.30 - 4.30 Monday to Friday.  The warehouse is unmanned, except by the lovely office staff, who are not able to help you load your purchase. You will need an appropriately sized vehicle and 2 people strong enough to lift your purchase into it.

If the hours they are open don't suit you, or you don't want to have to pack your car yourself, or go to the lengths of hiring a van, why not use our delivery service - it's convenient, comprehensive, cheap, friendly and you get 2 nice, strong men to do the donkey-work for you.

If you've got a large purchase to collect from our shops, please don't come in the middle of a busy Saturday or Sunday, as it's chaos in the shops and we probably won't be able to help you load. Please note that sometimes there won't be anyone available to help you load, whatever time or day you come, so bringing someone to help you is advisable anyway. Don't much fancy that? As I said before, see our delivery section.

Please note: if you ask us to move an item you've bought from the warehouse to a branch to make it easier for you to collect, then our standard delivery price will apply - at which point, you might as well have it delivered to your home anyway.
