Boho Range
These generously proportioned sofas, armchairs and ottoman-footstools have real boho chic, with a range of faux fur throw cushions included and deep crushed velvety chenille overstuffed seat cushions complemented by hand-coloured, uncorrected, antique-grained and somewhat wrinkly leather arms, sides and front - gives this the look of a rather well-used old friend and is possibly the most comfortable sofa in the world as a result.
It comes in a large (220cms wide), small (190cms wide) and an armchair (134cms wide) version and the depth is 106 cms on all of them. We commonly keep some in stock for immediate delivery, but if we don't have what you need in stock, it usually takes between 8 - 12 weeks to order.
If you have a London postcode, we can deliver it for you for £45 - that pays for 2 nice, strong men who will put it in place anywhere you like (within reason). Delivery outside London is done by subcontractors, so we don't necessarily know the people, but within the M25 is £100 and delivery outside the M25 on the UK mainland anywhere as far as Edinburgh is £145. While outside London you might get a nice strong man or two, they're not our strong men - so they might not be as nice as our strong men, but a cup of tea usually goes a long way with nice, strong men - in our experience. Please ask for a quote if you need it delivered abroad.
Technical:
Both sofas and the armchair are 100cms deep and 80cms high - with the legs attached. The legs unscrew and are 9cms tall, therefore the overall height can be reduced to 71cms. The sofas also split in half by means of bolts, accessible from the underneath. Please bear in mind that the sofas come ready assembled in a box, but with the feet NOT screwed on. You're supplied with a tool to quickly bolt them into place. If you need to take the sofa apart to get it into your property, simply unzip the fabric underneath the sofa and undo the wing nuts with your hand. Then remove the central fabric strip, held in place with Velcro and undo the zips beneath to undo the other wing nuts holding the back together. Bolting it back together again once it's in place is as easy as taking it apart. The footstool is 76cms wide x 51cms deep x 40cms high with a lidded, hinged top.
Please note that as the leather is coloured by hand and done in different batches and at different times, it is not possible to guarantee a match to either the shop sample or a previously purchased item from the range.
CONSTRUCTION & FILLING:
The frame is made from hardwood - usually beech or oak, which has been jointed, glued and screwed as necessary, with some man-made panels. The fur is fake, the cushions to the seat and fur throws are zipped and can be removed for cleaning - machine washed at 30ºC. The fillings are a mixture of foam, fibre & duck down. The seats are sprung with zig-zag springs. The leather is South American cow hide, which has been tanned in Italy.
FIRE:
The Boho range is fully compliant with current UK fire safety regulations - the strictest in the world - and considerably more stringent that those of the European Union. They are classed as CRIB 3 which means that they are suitable for domestic use, but we are able to provide them to CRIB 5 commercial standards upon request, for an extra fee and a longer production time.
GUARANTEE:
The Boho Range is guaranteed for a period of 5 years against defects in materials or workmanship. The guarantee does not cover damage or repairs necessary as a result of misuse, negligence, accident, neglect or wear and tear.
