| 746 Series Ivory Acrylic Telephone

The 700 series phone was introduced in 1959, but did not fully replace the 300 series until 1968. Made of lightweight plastic it was much quicker and cheaper to produce, paving the way for every home to have a phone. Available in a range of colours they reflected the ever more optimistic and swinging style of the 60's.
Today we offer these 746's for sale fully reconditioned and ready to plug into a BT telephone socket. In a range of colours: Red, Ivory and Black. These are the later version of the 700 Series, losing any hint of chrome or other detail and were made into the late 1970s. (See the 706's for a slightly more refined version of this model)
Wall models are sometimes also available please enquire.
Offered with a 12 month Return to base warranty, they are not covered against accidental damage or misuse. |
