| A weird and wonderful mixture of old and not so old. The front (the bit you see) is made from English quartered oak and dates from the 19th century. It was obviously once part of something else, probably built-in. Unusually, and the thing that makes it so interesting, is that the doors have never had either locks or handles of any sort. The interior and backs are made from old pine timbers of no particular provenance. |
