This a particularly nice one.  It's a lovely colour in that way you just can't reproduce without years and years of time.  It's dinky and the timber is largely quartered oak, which is what gives really nice oak pieces their distinctive shimmer. It looks like a Heal's design, but it's not marked anywhere.

It's been through our restoration workshop, but only for a clean and wax; otherwise it's just as its maker intended.
